Amika George, Scarlet Curtis and Grace Campbell are amongst some of the ladies behind the push for free sanitary products for girls in the UK who get free school meals. Thousands of girls cannot afford sanitary products which results in them avoiding school or using socks or tissues in their knickers. To bring the campaign to the attention of the UK Government, the founders of Pink Protest encouraged hundreds of girls to protest in London. Puns and red outfits a plenty, people took to social media to spread the message. I was asked by the team to create an illustration which was used multiple times across social media and included on the Metro write up here.
