Three weeks later and seven deadlines completed and I'm still alive yay!  I've popped down home for a week to catch up with family, and most importantly food and sleep. After spending almost all day every day in the library at Uni it was time for a break!

So clearly I can't get enough of my joni jeans and will pair them with anything I can find just so it means minimal dressing effort. I seem to have steered down the lazy styling route after years of high waisted skirts and shorts with tights (or maybe it's just a student thing) and stuck in that what's-on-top-of-the-pile rut. The mesh sleeves on this perfectly minimal Noisy May jersey adds that bit of interest and breaks up the black that I'm too scared to let go of as we edge closer to summer. It's uber comfy being a very soft jersey, and buying it in a size up means it's nice and loose - even if that results in it being a little long on the arms.

My Topshop boyfriend style coat has proven to be the perfect partner in crime when it comes to transitional dressing and the bright blue colour is more than welcomed on days when I've dressed with pathetic fallacy in mind (remember those English GCSE days?). All black everything please.
