When we popped down to the village market, it was a fresh sunny morning, but that temperature that meant a jumper and jeans or skirt and a tee would have worked just fine. So I went for the latter to give my new UO skirt it’s first outing. After visiting the market, we took a stroll along the new bridge that connects to the opposite side of the valley and serves breathtaking views.

Its monochrome (yes, I’m still fighting off colour) pattern makes it easy to style…as it matches all my other monochrome items.. The zip down the front gives it a lovely splash of detailing as well as the small elasticated band at the back – making it super easy and practical to tuck things in. We wandered round in bare legs whilst the alpine folk were wrapped up in woolies and boots, probably chuckling at us English girls behind their scarves.
