Little Loves: Seaside Restaurants

Some of you will know I got back from a week in Crete on Tuesday, and surprisingly am tanned the most I've ever been (can i get a woop woop?). We had a lovely little week with beach visits, coastal wanderings and pool activities. For us, it was a much more relaxed holiday than usual, but was very much needed, for all of us I expect.

We ate out a few times, and each time at a restaurant/taverna that was so close to the sea, one evening I genuinely had salty sea water dripping down my arm from the waves. As well as it providing a welcome sea breeze, as I'm sure you can imagine they would always boast spectacular views. This posed a little added atmosphere and interest to your meal; because deciphering which fish species of fried 'seafood' your about to eat isn't always enough.

Unfortunately I doubt these would be a permanent fixture in Britain as I can imagine whole restaurants blowing away in the winter.. not ideal. But all the same, if you do know of any hot spots like these, not necessarily with miscellaneous seafood platters on the menu, then please let me know, I'd love to pay a little visit.
